The Great St. Pete Cupcake Contest returns to the Morean Center for Clay on Saturday, August 29, from noon to 3 p.m., bringing together talented local bakers for an afternoon filled with creativity, competition, and plenty of sugar.
This annual event gives bakers of all experience levels the opportunity to showcase their best cupcake creations. Competitors can enter several categories, including Youth/Teen, Novice, Professional, and Specialty, making the contest a celebration of everyone from aspiring young bakers to seasoned professionals.
But the best part? You get to taste the competition!
Attendees receive a box containing a dozen mini cupcakes, giving you the chance to sample different creations and decide which one deserves your vote. After tasting your way through the entries, you can cast your ballot for the People’s Choice Award and help determine the crowd favorite.
